形態特徵

• Stipes green, smooth, grooved on one side; primary pinnae lanceolate, 80-150 cm long; pinnules mostly falcate, short-stalked, reflexed, especially so towards apex, 15-28 cm long, 2-5 (usually 2-3) cm wide; ultimate segments 1-2.5 cm long; basal pair of pinnules very short, deflexed; stipes, rachis, rachilla and underside of costa and lamina covered with easily abraded small, dark brown, stellate hairs; small narrow lanceolate fringed scales also borne along rachillae and costae; dormant bud covered with very dark brown scales having setose margins; stipule-like bracts deeply bipinnatifid; sporangia 3-4 per sorus, not covered with stellate hairs when young.
